Rusty Hendlin, LMFT, is the director of MediCal services at TLG, supervising this program which provides mental health services for children and youth. He works with at-risk youth and their families with an emphasis on engaging and empowering youth. He has worked with individuals (children, adolescents, and adults), families, couples, and groups in agencies and in private practice. His work is influenced by family-systems therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and neurobiology. He specializes in recovery programs from substance abuse. Rusty is a key member of the team that trains our staff. He has personal experience with disability and extensive ties to the Native American community.
