Denice Catching attended Grambling State University from 1990- 1993. While attending she had the privilege of being on the President’s and Dean’s List. She obtained a degree in Special Education with honors. She also has an AA dregree in General Education, a certicate in Special Education and a Child Development Site Supervisor’s  Permit from the State of California  Commission on Teacher Credentialing.  She has experience with ASQ’S, ASQ-SE,  ITERS,  ECERS,PITC,DRDP’S and Quality Count, and twenty five years of experience working with Foster and Adopted children with and without disabilities.

Denice has worked at Through the LookingGlass for nine + years as Site Supervisor / Teacher,  currently Director / Teacher. She oversees the overall operations of the Center. She supervises teachers,  children and their families, interns, and outside providers. She also leads children’s activities, conducts developmental testing on children, conducts parent-teacher conferences, and teacher’s and parent meetings.
