Maria Less, LCSW, is a bi-cultural Creole infant/child/family clinician and developmental specialist. She supervises TLG’s mental health consultant team for 13 Early Head Start and Head Start centers in Oakland and provides training and supervision on the Teaching Pyramid that is based on the practice developed by the Center on the Social Emotional Foundations in Early Learning (CSEFEL). She specializes in the early identification and intervention of children of all ages who are on the autism spectrum. She has trained behavioral programs serving children on the autism spectrum regarding relationship-based and family systems-oriented services. She also trained in Child/Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Maria is the parent of an adult child with a learning disability.
